IR measurement is done by Grazing Angle Objective (GAO), by studying the spectra obtained by focussing it on the area we want to measure like Diamond ATR objective. Measurement of thin layer can also be done without too much difficulty, which is one of the difficult type of sample to measure. Thus your FTIR microscopy could be the very strong analytical tool once you equipped this GAO.

Earlier it was very difficult to see the sample at grazing angle and this new GAO has solved this problem with the LED. This GAO equipped with the same latest LED with microfiber, which we have used for Diamond ATR objective. Using this we can measure the spot without any difficulty.

Errorless IR measurement can be done by studying the spectra obtained from New and Ultimate Diamond ATR objective, by focusing objective on the area we want to measure. With Diamond ATR objective equipped in FTIR microscope, will give magnification of 72X. Even a good quality of spectra can be obtained from area Less than 20 Mum using this objective. It has unique design and mechanism to make IR beam matched with visible light. Moreover, samples which has not been able to be observed clearly in reflectance mode in visible light because of the reasons like contamination on the metal surface, but now it can be observed clearly with this new Diamond ATR Objective.

Magnification of this ATR objective is approx. 5 times bigger than conventional ATR objectives with visible resolution less than 10 Mum which is significantly high compare to other ATR objectives.
The measurement with ATR objective becomes difficult if the visible image is not clear, and it happens when the visible light can''''t pass through it and It happens when the sample is kept on the metal surface. But using the latest LED with microfiber, it is possible to put the internal illuminator with success and this problem has been solved finally.
